Supervision
I offer integrative supervision on a one to one basis for both qualified counsellors and trainees on placement. My supervision training is based on the Psychodynamic approach and the Seven Eyed Model. The Seven Eyed Model of supervision was developed by Peter Hawkins and Robin Shohet and takes into account the many aspects of client work: the client and their context, the counsellor also in context, the relationship between them, the supervisory relationship as well as the wider context socially, culturally and the systems within which we work. It allows not only for self reflection by the counsellor but also by the supervisor in regards to the supervisee and their client. My qualifications include Supervision Certificate 2013 from Cambridge Supervision Training. I strive to provide a professional, containing and encouraging arena from which to explore, develop and support my supervisee's work. I believe that a rapport between supervisee and supervisor is imperative in order to be able to work together effectively. With this in mind, I am happy to have an initial chat free of charge so that we can meet up without obligation. Whilst my fee for supervision is £56 per hour, I can offer a consession for trainee counsellors. For further information please call or email me.
